1824 Premium Beef is the award-winning beef brand of the Australian Agricultural Company, founded in 1824.
1824 Premium Beef is produced from cattle born and raised on the natural grasses of pristine AAco outback properties. Only a small percentage of AAco cattle are selected for this specialty brand. These comprise the company's Barkly Composite and crossbred cattle, produced from crossing Santa Gertrudis with Charolais, Senepol and/or Angus cattle.
Cattle bred for the 1824 Premium Beef program are finished on quality grains for a minimum 120 days to ensure consistent premium quality beef is delivered according to specification, 52 weeks of the year.
With a fully integrated supply chain, all 1824 Premium Beef is able to be traced back to the property on which it was raised, using electronic ID and stringent quality controls.
Our brand promise is a guarantee of tender, flavoursome, MSA graded beef that has been ‘aged to perfection’ to deliver maximum eating satisfaction.
