A semi-hard whole cow’s milk cheese with a smooth rind.

The term Provolone (meaning large Provola) appeared around the end of the 20th century when it started to be manufactured in the Northern regions of Italy, and this cheese assumed its current large size.

Galbani make its provolone in the region of Lombardia, it has a strong flavour and is seasoned for a minimum of 5 months.

Available in half cut cylindrical 6kg, 17kg and 35kg sizes and a 5kg cylindrical size.
